McDaid to seek FF's euro nomination

James McDaid has announced that he is seeking the Fianna Fáil nomination to stand as an MEP in the June elections.

McDaid, the Junior Minister at the Department of Transport was first elected to the Dáil in 1989.

He was a former Minister for Tourism, Sport and Recreation.
