Water pollution levels remain significantly high

Ireland’s waterways and drinking supplies continue to be significantly polluted, according to reports this morning.

The reports said 40% of Irish rivers and lakes did not comply with water quality standards, while 25% of group water is contaminated with human or animal waste.
