Govt urged to create more jobs in rural areas

The Irish National Organisation for the Unemployed has called on the Government to provide more job opportunities in rural areas and to do more to retain existing jobs in these areas.

The organisation claimed today that unemployment rates were as high as 40% in some rural areas.
