Govt to unveil details of electronic voting plans

The Government is due to unveil details today of its controversial plans to introduce electronic voting nationwide at the local and European elections this year.

The new technology, which has been tried on a pilot basis in Dublin and Meath, will be used in all constituencies during the June 11 elections.
