Doctors' action 'lengthening waiting lists'

Its being claimed that waiting lists in Irish hospitals are being lengthened because consultants won't release information about patients.

The National Treatment Purchase Fund, which pays for Irish patients to have operations abroad, is concerned that doctors here are refusing to pass on patients' details.
