Man shot dead in Dublin city
A man was shot dead in a gangland-style attack in Dublin’s inner city, gardaí said today.
The 30-year-old victim was blasted with a shotgun at a flat in St Theresa’s Gardens in the south of the city.
He was taken to St James’s Hospital where he was pronounced dead around midnight.
It is understood his killer arrived at the scene, and escaped, on a motorcycle.
The victim is believed to be well-known to the gardaí, with a number of previous convictions for armed robbery.
