Galway: Woman's body being examined

The Assistant State Pathologist is travelling to Galway to carry out a post-mortem examination on the body of a woman in her 60s.

A family member found the woman dead at lunchtime yesterday in an unoccupied cottage in the Clybaun area of Salthill.

Gardaí say they are trying to establish the cause of her death.
