Trimble: ‘I would like to continue leading UUP’
David Trimble says the Ulster Unionist Party can rebuild itself despite recent resignations.
Speaking on the BBC, Mr Trimble said some of the upheaval had been orchestrated by people intent on damaging the party.
A branch of the party was dissolved in Co Down last week after 26 members of the Kilkeel group resigned.
He also says he would like to continue leading the party after the leadership comes up in March.
