Gardaí in Co Cork are investigating a graffiti attack on the home of racehorse tycoon and Manchester United shareholder John Magnier.

Reports this morning said an obscene slogan was spray-painted on the front wall of Mr Magnier’s stud farm near Fermoy on Tuesday night or Wednesday morning.

Gardaí reportedly believe the incident was linked to an ongoing dispute between Mr Magnier and Manchester United manager Alex Ferguson over stud fees for the racehorse Rock of Gibraltar.
