Prisoner stabbed to death in jail

A prisoner was killed today after being stabbed in Dublin’s Mountjoy Jail.

A prisoner was stabbed to death inside Dublin’s Mountjoy jail today.

The 31-year-old man, who was serving a nine-month sentence, was stabbed once in the chest and was pronounced dead after being taken to the nearby Mater hospital.
