Tourism chiefs are calling on the Government to make a speedy decision on the building of a national stadium, which, they say, is a "critical gap" in Ireland's infrastructure.

The Irish Hotels Federation says the stadium is a key part of tourism and that it is "ludicrous" home soccer and rugby matches could be hosted in England due to a lack of facilities here.
