Community Games call to tackle obesity

The organisers of the Community Games have called on the Government to make tackling obesity among young people a top health priority.

They say young people are choosing a lazier lifestyle and interest in community sports is decreasing.

CEO of the games, Malcolm Byrne, says the State needs to provide support for volunteers who provide sporting activities for children.
