Teenagers in hospital after Belfast attacks
Two teenagers are in hospital this morning following paramilitary style-attacks in Belfast.
One young man, in his late teens, was shot in both ankles after being abducted from his home in the Andersonstown area around lunchtime yesterday.
It is reported that four men, driving what the victim believed was a red car, carried out the attack.
In another incident, a gang of four men bundled a youth into a white car on the White Rock Road, in the Ballymurphy area of the city, and drove him to Moyard Crescent, where he received a severe beating.
He was taken to the Royal Hospital where he’s being treated for face and ankle injuries.
Detectives don’t believe the attacks are linked.
