Four to appear in court on assault charges

Four young men are expected to appear at a special court sitting in Co Clare this evening, in connection with an alleged serious assault in the early hours of this morning.

It is alleged that a 35-year-old woman was raped while a 34-year-old man was locked in the boot of a car.
