SIPTU seeks action on ‘double-jobbing’ taxi drivers

SIPTU has called on the Government to outlaw the practice of full-time workers taking on second jobs as taxi drivers.

The union claimed today that the number of “double-jobbing” taxi drivers had increased significantly since the deregulation of the industry a number of years ago.
