Aer Lingus will not avoid US air marshal plan

The Taoiseach has said Aer Lingus will have no choice but to carry armed air marshals on flights to the US, if Washington demands it.

Bertie Ahern has said European Transport Ministers are working to agree a common position on the US demand.
