Prison officers claim they are being bullied
Prison officers have accused the Minister for Justice and the Prison Service of trying to bully them into accepting reform plans.
Member of the Prison Officers Association are trying to find a solution to the row in the Labour Relations Commission as the closure of the Curragh Prison in Co Kildare comes into effect.
The POA has said it is clear the agenda of management was to close and privatise prisons, and bully its members into accepting a plan that has been rejected by 99.4%.
