Breast Screening Programme expands to Wexford

The National Breast Screening Programme is expanding to Wexford.

Breast Check provides free mammograms to women aged between 50 and 64 to detect early cancer.

The programme already operates in the Eastern Regional Health Authority, North-eastern and Midland Health Board areas but today's move marks the first step in plans to develop the service around the country.
