Shots fired at house in Dublin's inner city

Gardaí in Dublin are investigating an overnight shooting in the Kilmainham area.

A number of shots were fired through a bedroom window and the front door of a house on Basin St at around 1.30am.

The attackers are believed to have fled the scene in a car. Nobody was injured in the incident.
