Gardaí name couple killed in Longford fire

Gardaí have named the couple killed in a fire at their home in Co Longford today.

They were 54-year-old Vincent Farrell and his 49-year-old wife Patricia.

The couple died when a fire engulfed their house near Ballymahon at around 6am today.

Their three children escaped unharmed.

An investigation is underway into the cause of the blaze.
