Taoiseach criticises planned Aer Rianta strike action

The Taoiseach, Bertie Ahern, has criticised planned strike action by Aer Rianta workers in protest at the Government’s intention to abolish the company and establish Dublin, Cork and Shannon airports as independent entities.

SIPTU announced yesterday that the rolling two-hour stoppages would begin on January 22.
