Unemployment rates among the disabled remain unacceptably high, despite efforts to address the problem, according to a report published today by the National Disability Authority.

Unemployment rates among the disabled remain unacceptably high, despite efforts to address the problem, according to a report published today by the National Disability Authority.

The report said that only 40% of disabled people aged between 16 and 64 were currently in employment. It also said that the public sector had yet to meet its 3% target for the employment of people with disabilities.
