A senior garda officer today recalled the “theatricals” of alleged IRA informer Adrienne McGlinchey in Co Donegal during the 1990s.

Chief Superintendent Denis Fitzpatrick, in charge of the gardaí in Co Donegal at the time, but now head of the force’s Dublin-based National Traffic Bureau, faced questioning at the Morris Tribunal about reportedly “bizarre” activities on the part of Letterkenny woman Ms McGlinchey.
