Prison overtime talks to resume at LRC today

Talks between the Prison Service and the Prison Officers Association about the Government’s plan to reduce overtime are due to resume at the Labour Relations Commission today.

The two sides are trying to agree a way of halving the overtime bill, which reached around €60m last year.
