Hospital consultants 'on brink of industrial action'

Hospital consultants are reportedly on the brink of industrial action over the Government’s plans to introduce a new scheme to insure their practice.

Reports this morning said the Irish Hospital Consultants Association was planning to convene an extraordinary general meeting on February 1 if the plan is introduced without agreement.
