Gardaí make 10 arrests at lap-dancing club

Ten people were arrested during a search of a lap-dancing club in Dublin last night.

Ten people were arrested during a search of a lap-dancing club in Dublin last night.

Gardaí searched the premises on Capel Street with a warrant issued under the Employment Permits Act.

The search was part of Operation Quest, which is being spearheaded by the National Immigration Bureau.

Gardaí from the DMR North Central Division assisted them. Nine women and one man were arrested.

One of the women has been detained pending deportation from the State. The other nine were later released and investigations are continuing.
