Unions disappointed with Aer Rianta talks

Unions representing workers at Aer Rianta have described their talks with the Department of Transport about the proposed break-up of the company as disappointing.

The unions said yesterday that they were still mystified about the reasons for the plans to establish Dublin, Cork and Shannon airports as independent, competing entities.
