Dempsey launches education and youth programme

Education Minister Noel Dempsey has officially launched the education and youth programme of the Irish presidency of the EU.

Mr Dempsey said the theme of the document - building an inclusive and competitive Europe - reflected the contribution that education and training make towards economic growth, innovation, employment and social cohesion.
