Govt plans 'consumer friendly' EU presidency

The Minister of State for Europe, Dick Roche, has said the Government will do all it can to make EU law more consumer-friendly during our presidency of the European Union.

Ireland assumes the presidency on New Year’s Day for the duration of six months.
