A donation of €260,000 has been given to the Food and Agriculture Organisation of the UN from the Department of Agriculture.

A donation of €260,000 has been given to the Food and Agriculture Organisation of the UN from the Department of Agriculture.

Of this amount, €50,000 is being directed towards the joint Food and Agriculture Organisation and World Health Organisation trust fund.

The funding has been given to enable increased participation by delegates from the least developed countries and was announced by Minister of State, Noel Treacy, earlier today.
