Authority warns on Christmas safety issues

The National Safety Authority have issued a warning to householders this Christmas, saying accidents in the home happen around this time of year more than at any other time.

Chief Executive of the Health and Safety Authority Tom Beegan has warned, for example, that those interested in buying Christmas lights must make sure that they are structurally sound and not faulty.
