NI civil servants to step up pay dispute

Industrial action by civil servants in the North will be stepped up in the New Year unless they get an improved pay offer.

Thousands of civil servants staged a one-day strike last week, and are now threatening to escalate the action with longer strikes by key groups of staff within government departments and agencies.
