Business group seeks delay in minimum wage increase

The Chambers of Commerce of Ireland has called for the phased introduction of a 10% minimum wage increase due to come into effect in February.

The increase from €6.35 to €7 per hour was part of the Programme for Sustaining Progress negotiated by the social partners last year.
