Study recommends tighter regulations for timber-frame homes

A study of timber-frame housing in Ireland has recommended the strengthening of regulations governing the construction of such buildings.

The study, published today by Environment Minister Martin Cullen, also recommended the drafting of a code of practice for the construction of timber-frame residential developments.
