Minister calls for companies to decentralise

Eamon O’Cuiv, the Minister for Rural and Gaeltacht Affairs, has called on private companies to follow the Government’s lead by decentralising their operations.

Mr O’Cuiv said private firms should move out of large cities and into regional areas.

The minister is visiting Knock in Co Mayo today, where he is expected to outline further details of how the Government’s decentralisation plan will affect the west.
