Gardaí in Dublin have arrested a 27-year-old man during an attempted robbery in the Palmerstown area of the city this morning.

Gardaí in Dublin have arrested a 27-year-old man during an attempted robbery in the Palmerstown area of the city this morning.

A lone raider entered a building society on the Old Lucan Road at around 9.45am, sprayed lighter fuel over the counter and demanded cash.
