Ireland’s unemployment rate increased from 4.6% to 4.9% in the third-quarter of this year, according to figures released today by the Central Statistics Office.

Ireland’s unemployment rate increased from 4.6% to 4.9% in the third-quarter of this year, according to figures released today by the Central Statistics Office.

The CSO’s Quarterly National Household Survey showed that 98,900 people were unemployed between July and September, an increase of 17,500 on the previous quarter.
