Gardaí name man found in Galway

A man whose body was found on a roadside in Co Galway has been named this evening.

He was Joseph Bermingham, aged 25, from Ardrahan in Galway.

Dr Marie Cassidy from the State Pathologist's Office is currently undertaking a post mortem at University College Hospital Galway.

Gardaí at Ardrahan are appealing for any witnesses who may have seen anything in the Ardrahan area between 7pm last night and 8am this morning to contact them.
