Ahern: Irish among best paid in Europe

The Taoiseach has said pay increases in Ireland under partnership deals are amongst the highest in the EU.

Bertie Ahern was responding to questions from Joe Higgins of the Socialist Party, who said employees had to take minimal pay rises, while companies made millions.
