Anti-war movement plans Shannon Airport blockade
Shannon Airport will be blockaded on Saturday by anti war campaigners.
The Irish Anti War Movement says it will disrupt access to the Airport for a number of hours, as part of a demonstration over the use of Shannon by the US military.
The organisers of the protest are advising passengers to get to the airport early if they feel the demonstration could interfere with their travel arrangements.
Irish Anti War Movement spokesman, Richard Boyd Barrett, says he hopes passengers understand the reasons behind the demonstration.
