Early exit polls show votes very close

An early exit poll says that David Trimble's UUP Party and the Ian Paisley's DUP are running neck-and-neck.

The poll also puts Sinn Fein four points ahead of its rival, the SDLP.

Counting is now underway with results expected tomorrow.
