Protestors removed from Government buildings

Ten demonstrators were forcibly removed from Government buildings this afternoon.

The demonstrators who are members of Youth Defence were protesting at plans by the Tánaiste Mary Harney to cast a vote in Brussels tomorrow on an EU set of guidelines on embryo research.

They chained themselves in the front office of the Tanaiste’s Government department in Dublin’s Kildare St.
