Eastern A&E units ask people to stay away

The Eastern Regional Health Authority is asking people to stay away from accident and emergency departments this evening.

In a statement just released they say it has been a very busy day in A&E departments and they are appealing to people who are not seriously ill or injured to attend their GP instead.
