Police probe suspicious Derry death

Police in Co Derry were today investigating the suspicious death of a man.

He was found in his home at Glengrainne Gardens in Park Village outside Dungiven.

Police said he was discovered alive by a friend but died before he could be taken to hospital.

The area around the house was sealed off by police as they began an investigation.

A police spokeswoman said she could not say exactly what had happened to the man, but his death was being treated as suspicious.
