INOU blasts spending estimates

The Irish National Organisation of the Unemployed is criticising spending estimates, which it says will slash supports to the jobless.

The eligibility criteria for the ‘Back to Education’ allowance has been increased from six to fifteen months for the third level option.

The Employment Support Services' budget is being cut by nearly a third.

INOU General Secretary Eric Conroy says that is not to mention the €91m of new taxes.
