Gardaí continue Dublin murder investigation

Gardaí are continuing an investigation into the shooting of a 24-year-old man in west Dublin.

The man died in hospital after being shot in the leg at close range in Mulhuddart yesterday afternoon.

Its believed he was connected to the west Dublin crime gang known as "the Westies".

The man died in James Connolly Memorial Hospital.

Gardaí are trying to trace a number of people believed to have been with him at the time of the shooting.
