Police get more time to question al-Qaida suspect

Police in Northern Ireland were today given another 48 hours to question an al-Qaida suspect arrested by detectives investigating possible terrorist threats on Britain.

Abbas Boutrab, 25, can now be held until Monday afternoon, a British High Court judge ruled.
