Mongolian-registered ship detained off east coast

Gardaí and naval services are involved in an operation to detain a Mongolian-registered cargo ship off the east coast.

The ship has anchored one mile off the coast of Dun Laoghaire and immigration officials are expected to board the vessel shortly.
