Action needed on issue of husbands of foreign nurses

Justice Minister Michael McDowell says he supports urgent action to deal with the problem of foreign nurses working here whose spouses are barred from getting employment here.

Many Fillipino nurses who came here in recent years are now leaving Ireland because of the ban.
