Disability body criticises health service

The National Disability Authority is claiming that mental health services are largely non-existent for persons with intellectual disability and psychiatric illness.

According to the Authority's latest publication on access to the services launched today, people with intellectual disabilities are being discriminated against and denied access to acute psychiatric services.
